Honey Miso Shrimp

Once Spring/Summer starts, we love grilling outside. Normally, everyone has their favorite which means we end up grilling tons of things. Miso shrimp is the only thing that EVERYONE loves. My kids devour it. I think it has to do with the salty and sweet that appeals to everyone or that it has the umami taste. Whatever it is, it is a crowd pleaser. Please feel free to use other proteins besides shrimp. The most obvious being salmon. One of my friends suggested tofu. Let me know if anyone decides to make it with tofu.

This is how I made it:

Add honey, kecap manis*(you can substitute with soy sauce. I like the added sweet and salty), miso paste, ginger, garlic, and lime juice.

Mix it all together and then add to raw shrimp.

Let marinate for at least 15 minutes and then grill. Easy peasy!
